The client is a research organization that focuses on generation, delivery, use, management and environmental responsibility of electricity. With offices in 6 locations across the USA, it has more than 1000 clients globally. The user base is 55,000 users/members need to be attended to website and portal operational 24×7 and cloud based apps access to Workday and Concur.

Avancer’s Intervention

The client associated with Avancer to setup Mobile Access and Single Sign-On (SSO) facility. This was believed to be helpful in managing just-in-time access and information sharing within the organization. Website needs to support online member enrollment, self-service account management, and single sign-on. Member accounts and sensitive content to be securely accessed through mobile devices.
Avancer implemented following set of Identity and Access Management solutions to help the client deal with existing set of challenges and achieve robust automation:

  • Oracle Access Manager to provide access and SSO solutions
  • Oracle Identity Management to support online provisioning and self-service password management
  • Oracle API Gateway: secured access to content on mobile devices
  • Oracle Unified Directory (OUD), Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD), Active Directory to manage member and employee profiles jointly
  • Oracle RAC to support user provisioning and store access based policies
  • Oracle Identity Federation provided SAML – backend operations
  • Disaster and recovery planning in case of Identity theft
